Blog set-up reflection

This is the second time that I have set up a blog. The first one was for the SP4Ed interaction a couple of months ago.
Being involved with Teaching and Learning activities with a leading educational institution in Sydney, I intend setting up a few blogs to help the teachers in my institution. This, I presume, will facilitate educators around the world.
I found this attempt of setting up a blog a lot easier than the first time. From my experience, there are few things I'd recommend other bloggers to do.
  • Choose an appropriate template - simple and effective. Do not go for the more complicated ones.
  • Make sure that you make your blog "public" in Permissions under Settings.
  • Choose an appropriate font colour and font size.
  • Always proof-read your posts before publishing them.
The most important thing when posting blogs is that you need not recreate the wheel. Use links to information that is already available, but ensure that you always acknowledge any links, images or videos that you refer to.
